Comments and News updates: August 29 2010 A major website overhaul going on, the images won't change much, but we are tweaking the html to see if we can get some exposure and action here on the site. The swimwear pages should be done and the DVD pages will have to wait some more as I spent almost all day working on the changes.May 1st 2010 New swimwear DVD with Ashley and Heather featuring our daylabayswimwear skimpy Rios and one piece suits! The girls came over in December and we did a full day at the home studio and out back. With two girls it makes for a fun and relaxed casual session and the girls are comfortable with each other.
April 26 2010 Don't stop sending those modeling submissions in! There is no deadline! We will contact models that we would like to represent the dayla bay swimwear site and modeling DVD. Don't know the location or anything yet... Oct 04th 2009 We had a big swimwear modeling session in April and have been releasing swimwear styles and swimwear DVD with the girls that showed up. Another model that was there is Niki, and we are releasing her DVD this month! Niki modeled some new thong suits and participated in some other fun modeling themes as well from a short shoot in June. Niki is seen below at our home studio setting wearing a long sleeved cover up made in a very sexy fabric, Sparklesheen Mesh.
Sept 18th 2009 For those of you that sent in pictures or questions about shoots, we are not doing any more shoots this year, we have a ton of stuff to update and website things to do. Maybe next year. We'll post some notices.A new DVD with Tina and Melissa, is available. This is a continuation of the Spring Special 09. Part 2! Featuring some new dayla bay suits and sparklesheen mesh styles not yet on the website and some exotic themes as the girls are older.
July 31st 2009 A new "Summer Special 09 " DVD set with Miss Alex is available! Check her Swimwear DVD page for more info! Shot during our April Swimwear Event this 3 Disc Spectacular has some exciting new styles from the dayla bay swimwear collection. Occasionally we do different themed modeling shoots in addition to the swimwear only shoots to add some variety to our DVD line as the DVD sales have been funding the purchase of the swimwear and for the modeling shoots.
We have concluded all the shoot events for the summer and don't know when we will shoot again, depending on sales, shoot locations and the economy in general. July 14th 2009 We are going to revamp the site a little, evidently swimwear "customers" are unsure as to whether we are selling swimsuits or the models wearing the suits! We are selling new swimwear in various sizes and fabrics, we are also selling the DVD's of the swimwear sessions, the models have opportunity to wear exciting suits plus keep some for themselves and also have future modeling opportunities when we do fun shoots or themed shoots if they want. Sounds like a good deal?July 9th 2009 Summer is here and you do need a new suit suit! June 10th 2009 Limited Return / Exchange: Due to the nature of the intimate apparel of swimwear or lingerie we can not resell returned worn merchandise. Each swimsuit will be sold with a hygienic liner pad. If for some reason the suit doesn't fit we will accept an exchange only if the suit is returned in original condition with an intact hygienic liner and labels/hang tags. We feel that our customers would not want to purchase any merchandise...worn by somebody else.Please call or email for any specific size questions before ordering. We answer emails fast usually within the hour! May 26th 2009 Hope every one had a good weekend, we did as we have finished up our latest swimwear modeling DVD with beautiful Ashley. Ashley was one of the girls that responded to our job posting in March 09 for the Spring Swimwear Event! We are getting ideas for a big summer swimwear event, details to be worked out...so if you didn't make our April event for whatever reason now is the time to apply for some easy summer fun money!

April 16th 2009 We started updating the site, so please be patient while we tweak the images and suit information.April 2009 Finally got the rest of our new colors and style alterations! Yeah!! Now we can work on some model shoots!Jan 31 2009 I'll be pulling for Kurt and the Cardinals tomorrow! To all the ladies who sent in your model submission we will review them and contact those girls that we are interested in for additional details. Currently we are still waiting for a swimwear order with additional sizes and a couple of style changes. That and it's not exactly summer out... We are looking for a spot with pool and spa (heated) for our next shoot so that might take a while. Jan 4 2009 We are happy to announce our newest DVD with Melissa! Beautiful Melissa saw one of our job postings and sent in some pics! Our dayla bay swimwear series DVD #8 is 2 hours of Melissa modeling and having fun. Our model selection process is not hard or complex or has any hidden requirements! If we like your look, your in! Easy!!! Melissa showed up in late November and we did some sessions with the dayla bay label suits to complete the catalog pictures!
Speaking of the catalog, its done!! Every DVD or swimwear order gets a free catalog on CD! With over 50 approx 8 x 10 images of all the models we have hired, at 600dpi you can print these out on your home printer as well. Includes additional pictures not seen yet on the website.Dec 24 2008 Explore Talent Casting ID 353019 is incorrect! One, I did not post there and Two, the posting states I'm looking for men and women 18-35! That is not correct and I have contacted Explore customer service to remove or modify it as I did not submit it. Dec 20 2008 We posted a swimwear modeling ad in Florida Models website, just a note to remind applicants that we only contact you if we feel you might qualify to represent our swimwear. Also please read our posting before sending your pics in!Dec 08 2008 We have added the sixth dayla bay swimwear DVD starring Miss Alex! Actually added last week but due to demand we have been delayed in some updates and promo pics of upcoming suits! Miss Alex is shown below modeling a new non thong bikini we are calling "Asia Minor" These were some of our first suits made and imported into the USA before we found our current local swimwear provider. The back is sort of skimpy like the Rio Brazil suits. More details coming soon!Dec 01 2008 During this month we will add some new exciting styles so everybody can get a jump on next year's bikini or outfit! We are almost done with our first edition catalog and will ship those out on cd with every swimwear or DVD bought starting January 2009. More details on the catalog later, it can be considered a 8x10 photo album as well.Nov 15th 2008 We did another swimwear session and will be working to bring the next swimwear DVD out as well as some more pictures of the swimwear to complete our line.Oct 21 2008 The catalog process is still going strong, Tina says it looks great! We just need to shoot some more to finish up all the remaining suits and then I can get really busy on the advertisements, sponsoring some events and more!Oct 3 2008 We are adding images and order options for a bunch of new suits and styles! NEW Bikini Contest Suit available in great looking colors! Tina is modeling the Red Wet Look on our stage set. Remember we hire local girls to model too!
Sept 1 2008 Hopefully we will receive our final order of suits, and then we can work on some shoots to bring them to you. We have started working on a prototype catalog with 8x10 sized pictures with a 600dpi to print out. We're thinking a 3 ring binder with double sided images and detail images of the styles, information on the models and new DVD releases and more! These will be expensive to produce so will be available free with purchase of a suit or DVD. August 1 2008 We are still waiting for our third order to arrive, our swimwear vendor is trying to fit us in during this busy time, she bumped us up to the top for our 1st and 2nd orders, so we expected to wait for third order, that gives us time to get ready for our major marketing push soon and start our outline of the catalog.June 28 2008 We have "named" the suits mainly to help with inventory control and some other reasons as well :)June 23 2008 We are learning some new things! Like, for example, some fabrics just don't stretch to fit different shaped girls! So we are going to rework our XS Gothic suit a little. We took that off the order list. I also think I underestimated the time it will take to get everything set for the "official" opening! Official in this case means submitting to search engines and all the other things for promotion. How to Buy a item using the online shopping cart: Actually, we do get email on this topic. One goal of creating a website is making it easy and simple to use! Sometimes making things simple to use is actually harder than complicated! Anyway... Each page has a text links menu bar to swimwear styles and other items available off the website. Once you find something you like, there will be a gray order button in the box that describes the suit or DVD with a drop down box for multiple choices...ie, size, color. One click will take you to our online SSL secured shopping cart where you can finish your order. The Swimwear pages display a main picture of the suit and some sample images of the suit during our modeling shoot. Underneath the description box there is another box with a center Gray order button with "Buy this suit" or similar. After clicking that button, a secured shopping cart page will open and display the item you just ordered and ask you to complete the order, which then is a standard online cart and you just follow the provided steps to finish inputting your info. About daylabayswimwear.com Dayla Bay Swimwear was started by an part time photographer who has been hiring swimwear and bikini contest models since 1993, mainly for "private studio work". All the models were paid to wear swimwear and other outfits and have signed standard modeling releases. We did this from 1993 to mid 1998. The modeling videos/DVD's created from these early shoots were marketed to stores, distributors and then sold world wide through the internet. After a period where we didn't shoot any models at all, we resumed in 2003 shooting teenage swimwear models exclusively for high quality DVD productions. Over the past few years however, model prospects have stated they would like to be part of something bigger, not just modeling outfits for a independent photographer. I have been working with some younger girls recently and finding great looking modern styled bikinis and one pieces for their smaller sizes is near impossible! There are so many suits out there marketed to the young girls that are just plain ugly "tent's"! Or look like a style from 1950. So in March of 2008 ago I decided to just go and do it! I started inquiring about buying swimwear from sites that would wholesale their line as a "private label brand" and that's where we are! I bought a bunch of "name brand" swimwear that is available in lot's of stores and we are reselling those styles without the daylabay label. My next step was to buy some suits made to "order" from overseas and that was a lesson learned, as the tops were way over sized, those have been reworked and are the "Asia Minor" styles. There is nothing worse than a seeing a girl in a swimsuit too big for her! IMO I was extremely lucky to find a vendor here in Florida that was willing to share her existing swimwear styles as well as to create special sizing patterns for the smaller girls. And what's really great is she likes similar styles I do! I have brought many patterns to her and we are creating some great looking styles, hopefully you will agree, please email any suggestions :) These newer styles have the dayla bay swimwear brand label and we were awarded a trademark in November 2008. I've already starting to see the benefits in that models are more comfortable modeling a "real" product and we can tie the swimwear and DVD into one product promotion goal. Plus, I have samples to hand out at the beach as well. However it seems like in today's business world, there are critics and anti-crusaders and business rivals that feel only their way is the right way and if you don't follow them they will attempt to ruin your name and business by whatever means. I've had my share of messy negative bias, cyber smear defamation attacks and out right lies and unproven allegations leveled against myself and my business products by rival photographers, critics and anti crusaders who were later arrested for their own illegal activities! Now, years later and still no public retraction from the attackers for the allegations and unfounded defamation against my business. I have no criminal record.
