Bikini Crazy Contests are from the mid 1990's

When I was living on the beach there was a club that had these great contests, I mean great for a video guy as there was a central elevated stage, and the girls would be up for a whole song, not ten seconds! Plus there prize money was good so a lot of girls would show up and also the dawn of the slingshot contest suits.  I would be right next to the stage and as there were lots of photographers, we each had our "spot".

This DVD has contest girls before the 1996 " family values " change. Around 1996 the club ownership changed hands and wanted to focus on being a tourist attraction mainly instead of a local beach hangout so the contest changed to a tiny platform in the corner and the girls were only on stage for a few seconds, really! So I never went back.

Spring Break at Daytona Beach from the early 1990's.

This was when girls could wear thongs, and the club/hotels owners had bikini contests and wet contests outside on the pool decks. Just about every place had something going on, but I went to one place as they had a fixed schedule of sorts and I knew I when I had to be there so I could spend time on the beach filming the girls.

These are mostly school girls recruited off the beach with a few pro girls as well, I think the prize money was like a $100 bucks or so. I would get there early and camp out at the front of the stage. The clubs had other contests typical of the "spring break movies" like pizza and belly flop contests, but there is none of that stuff in these DVD's.

I never did go to any nite time club events as they tended to be darker with less light and more  restrictions on cameras. You always hear stories about how wild the girls got, but you never knew and during the daytime events the bouncers would try to keep the girls covered, as the Daytona PD would fine the clubs. But there were slips :)

Back when I was living on the beach, I was hanging out a the local club where they had great bikini contests and you would get to know girls that showed up a lot...Allison was a regular on the bikini contest circuit and naturally I approached her to do some modeling on the beach in her contest slingshot!
